Bunded stormwater and spill containment infrastructure at a licensed facility

Environment & Compliance

Licensed, monitored and audited

Our facility is licensed by the NSW Environment Protection Authority, and we’re committed to adhering to strict environmental standards

That commitment is reflected in our services and in how our waste management centres operate, including our Pollution Incident Response Management Plan. Licence conditions govern what we can accept, how it’s stored, how the site drains, and what we monitor.

Environment Protection Licence EPL 00000. Licence conditions and the current public register entry are available through the NSW EPA.

How we manage the site

Stormwater and spill control

Sealed hardstand, bunded drainage, first-flush capture and interceptors so nothing leaves the site through the stormwater system. Spill kits and trained responders on every shift.

Dust and noise

Suppression on processing areas, operating hours set by licence conditions, and plant maintained to keep noise within limits at the boundary.

Acceptance controls

Loads are inspected on arrival. Anything outside our licence, including asbestos, pressurised cylinders and chemical waste, is rejected at the gate rather than discovered later.

Hazardous fractions

Refrigerant degassing, battery segregation, oil and fluid capture from vehicles, and licensed downstream disposal for anything we can't process ourselves.

Monitoring and records

Weighbridge records, acceptance logs, monitoring results and incident records retained and available to regulators and to customers who need them for their own reporting.

Incident response

A documented PIRMP, tested and reviewed, with notification procedures that meet statutory timeframes. Every operator on site knows their part in it.

Reporting that survives an audit

Diversion figures tied to weighbridge certificates, not estimates in a spreadsheet.
