Onsite processing
Where the volume justifies it, we bring the plant to you. Processing material on site means fewer truck movements, better grades and a faster program.
What we mobilise
Excavators with shear, grab and magnet attachments for cutting and sorting structural steel. Mobile balers for cardboard and film. Material handlers for loading. Experienced operators who've run this equipment in live sites rather than in a yard.
For long-running operations we'll station equipment and an operator on your site permanently, effectively running your material handling as an extension of your own team.
Why it's usually cheaper
Uncut structural steel is mostly air by the time it's on a truck. Cutting it on site can double or triple what fits on each load, and the transport saving alone often covers the cost of mobilising the plant.
The second saving is grade. Sorting at the source keeps non-ferrous out of the ferrous pile, and that difference is measured in dollars per kilo rather than per tonne.
Safety and compliance
SWMS, JSAs, plant certifications, operator tickets and insurances provided before mobilisation. Our crews work under your site's permit system and attend your inductions and toolbox talks like anyone else on site.
