The whole site, not just the good bits
Plenty of operators will happily take the copper and leave you with everything else. We clear the site: the scrap that's worth money, the scrap that isn't, the redundant plant, the accumulated rubbish behind the shed, and the material nobody has wanted to deal with for a decade.
Anything we can't process ourselves goes to a licensed facility that can, and you get the documentation showing where it went.
Value offset against cost
Recoverable metal is valued and credited against the cost of the clearance. On sites with a lot of steel, that offset covers most of the job. On sites that are mostly general rubbish, it won't, and we'll tell you that up front rather than discovering it halfway through.
Either way you get a fixed quote after a site walk, not a running day rate that expands to fit the work.
